The gorgeous stairwell in this high-profile San Francisco office is illuminated by one single continuous linear LED luminaire which follows the edge of the stairwell up from the floor, around a landing, up another level, around another landing, and up to the top of the next floor. This creative solution provides an ethereal integrated solution which feels like a simple, organic part of the stair structure. In reality, we provided hours and hours of work creating integrated mounting details and reviewing shop drawings to ensure the fixture lengths would fit perfectly in the field. Kudos to the HOK design team and to the manufacturer, NeoRay, for collaborating with ELD on a stunning solution that does exactly what we envisioned!
