Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Charles, MO

This historic 1867 church suffered an unexpected ceiling collapse in 2018. Fortunately, no one was present or hurt when it happened, and the church was given the opportunity for a beautiful new sanctuary upgrade. ELD helped them take full advantage of lighting, color, and controls to allow their new space to gloriously reflect the liturgical seasons. Small RGB LED tapelight was strategically hidden with big results. New LED pendants provide general illumination. Recessed cans highlight the pipe organ, and LED sheets provide backlighting for an interior stained glass window. New track luminaires illuminate the front of the altar, while retrofit RGB lamps lend additional colorful punch behind it. A single control system organizes it all into a user-friendly interface.
